ERICs as key players in the European Research Area

With more than 170 participants from the ERIC/RI communities, ESFRI, European Commission and more, the ERIC Forum 2021 was a great opportunity for timely and fruitful discussions on high-level science policy issues. Several aspects highlighting ERICs as key players in the European Research Area were presented.

  • The role of ERICs in changing the European science policy environment,
  • ERICs as key instruments for Member States for developing solid and sustainable research capabilities,
  • The role that ERICs can have within the Horizon Europe Framework Program,
  • Research Infrastructures' socio-economic impact and innovation potential.
