The meeting on April 3, 2025, was hosted by Osvalds Pugovics at the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis (LIOS), EU-OPENSCREEN’s partner site in Latvia and a national leader in chemical biology, drug discovery, and technology transfer. Delegates were welcomed by Dr. Lana Franceska Dreimane from the Ministry of Education and Science of Latvia.

In addition to reviewing recent achievements — including positive evaluations from the Scientific and Ethical Advisory Board and a successful ESFRI monitoring report — participants also toured the LIOS facilities during a dedicated site visit.
