Approaching biology through the angle of chemistry catalyzes discoveries that transform our understanding of life’s fundamental mechanisms, driving breakthroughs in health, medicine, and environmental sustainability.
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Paris, the “City of Light,” for ChemBioParis2025, the first
joint edition of the ICBS Annual Conference and the European Chemical Biology Symposium (ECBS)
hosted in France, co-organized by ICBS, ChemBioLife (EuChemS), EU-OPENSCREEN, and SCF-
ChemBio (French Chemical Society).
While a joint ICBS–ECBS meeting was previously held in Berlin in 2015, ChemBioParis2025 marks a
new chapter for global and European collaborations, bringing together researchers from across the
world to explore the frontiers of chemistry, biology, and medicine.
The conference opens with the Trainee Symposium, shining a spotlight on the exceptional work of early-career scientists.
The program features a distinguished lineup of keynote speakers, including the
ICBS Global Lectureship Award recipient, and spans a rich diversity of topics: chemical glycobiology,
chemical inducers of proximity, targeting RNA, chemoproteomics-enabled drug discovery, and natural
products in chemical biology, alongside sessions celebrating rising stars and awarding outstanding
contributions from EuChemS ChemBioLife and SCF-ChemBio.

Join us in the City of Light to engage and celebrate with chemical biologist from around the world!
Douglas Auld, President ICBS
International Chemical Biology Society

The ECBS/ICBS 2025 is a unique opportunity to stay updated on the latest developments in the interdisciplinary field of Chemical Biology and to meet top scientists in a stimulating and informal atmosphere.
