The course was dedicated to compound logistics and led by Martin Popr and Ctibor Škuta from CZ-OPENSCREEN (National infrastructure for chemical biology). The course was intended mainly for staff in charge of compound management from EU-OPENSCREEN and prospective EU-OPENSCREEN partner sites, but also attendees from other institutes could follow the hands on training. The unanimous opinion of all participants was that this training was very helpful and gave a lot of valuable insights into automated liquid handling workstation, sample preparation, QC, automated result validation and ScreenX DB, the web-base in-house developed LIMS database.
